Sitting proudly at the centre of the picturesque village of Wootton Wawen, between the historic market towns of Henley-In-Arden and Stratford-Upon-Avon, The Bulls Head is the epitome of a charming country pub.

Packed full of old-world quirkiness, The Bulls Head offers an unpretentious, universal welcome beneath its creaking old beams. A haven from the rest of the world, you can hide away in our secret garden during the summer or spend a cosy winter’s afternoon in front of one of our many open fires.

Walkers, ramblers and cyclists who wish to explore this part of Warwickshire will find The Bulls Head conveniently situated for well-earned refreshment and nourishment after an arduous adventure through the countryside.

The Bulls Head is little more than a stone’s throw away from The Saxon Sanctuary, Wootton Hall, Wootton Park and the Stratford Canal. We’re a 5-minute car journey from the historic market town of Henley-In-Arden, 7 miles from Stratford-Upon-Avon, and about half an hour from Warwick, Leamington and Solihull.

The Bulls Head is the no-nonsense pub you’ve been waiting for, and it’s right on the doorstep to Warwickshire.

We’re passionate about emphasising how entirely unfussy our pubs are. They are not gastropubs. They are not restaurants. They are not a bar & kitchen. The Bulls Head is quite simply a quintessentially English country pub full of old world charm, and that’s just the way we like it.

For us, a lovely country pub is all about the atmosphere. Whether it’s a smiling face behind the bar or the cosiness of a roaring log fire, we think you should feel like you can stick around for as long as you like.

You’ll find no ostentation here – just a warm welcome, great pub grub and the perfect place to stay or play.

We’re on Tripadvisor and would of course love you to leave us a glowing review but, far more importantly, we want you to talk to us during your visit to let us know what works for you.

We want you to come for a tipple, a bite to eat or to enjoy the view and find your home away from home.

The Bulls Head is part of CloggInns Pub Company Ltd which, you’re right, is a daft name. But it makes us laugh every time we get bills through the post and it absolutely encapsulates everything about us, from our time spent running a busy city centre pub in Bristol to our adventures in taking over the Fleur De Lys in Lowsonford before we acquired The Bulls Head.

When we’re not on site, you’ll find our manager Tom taking the reigns of The Bull with a stellar supporting cast and a couple of superstars in the kitchen with our Head Chef, Snappy, at the helm. We’re incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated and passionate group of pros on hand to breathe a bit of life back into the old Bull.
