We can get pretty busy in the evenings and throughout the weekend, so we’d encourage you to reserve a table if you know that you’re coming in during those times. Additionally, if you are visiting with a large group, advanced booking is imperative.
That being said, we are not a formal restaurant and, as such, do not expect every visitor who turns up to have a reservation. The pub is not segregated between diners and drinkers and tables are not laid up in advance – we believe in fostering a relaxed environment, so if you do decide to eat we will bring you everything you need.
If you are looking to host a more private event, our beautiful big barn room provides the perfect space for supper clubs, team meetings and family get-togethers. We’d be delighted to chat through what you need and what we can do for you when you get in touch.
Dogs & Children
Dogs are welcome in the snug and the bar area – please let us know at the time of booking if you’re bringing a canine friend so that we can ensure you are seated at an appropriate table. Likewise, if you require a high chair for your little one then do just let us know so that we can accommodate our youngest diners!
For those with mobility issues, we recommend a table in the bar which has flat terrain. We do have a disabled toilet but unfortunately due to the historic nature of the building our dining room does not have disabled access.
We’re hiring! We are now in the process of recruiting Front of House members to join our team. If you think you’ve got what it takes to join our friendly gang then send us your CV and a covering letter telling us all about yourself. Let us know whether you’re looking for part-time, full-time or term-time hours. Tell us about your experience. Dazzle us with your charm.
We are also looking for a hard-working CDP to join our kitchen team. If you are looking to learn from the best and build your career in a fantastic environment then get in touch with your CV.
